Spousal caregivers (MALE AND FEMALE!) need a night out! My husband has MS and we are both 59. I got to the point where I didn't know where KAREN went and felt I had to do something positive. We welcome any spouse taking care of a spouse with whatever type of problem - we're all dealing with similar emotional upheavals.
This group is now a recognized branch of www.wellspouse.org. Our group meets once a month for either a dinner or luncheon at a special place. We have been getting together for almost a year now and I can't tell you how much support we have given to each other, not to mention the fun we've had. We are open to suggestions of what to do when we get together - we'd love to go to your favorite place.
We are waiting for you! Karen
